PU 10 Converter Module
The application module PU-10 serves to convert synchronous-serial data to parallel data.
Encoders or linear displacement sensors can be used as a data source with a synchronous-serial interface. Depending on the programming of the connected encoder by the “EPROG” parameterization software, it is possible to pick up position data, cam data or status outputs from the PU-10 position data. In the output of the position data, the output code or data transfer format can also be defined in order to allow adaptations to different control systems.The output information can be unlatched to ensure a correct data transmission.In more complex applications where several axes have to be managed, the outputs of multiple devices can be interconnected via the output stages.
